Sony Mobile is now rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update 432.4.A.0.160 for Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, Z5 Premium, Z4 Tablet, and Z3 Plus smartphones. The latest update also includes Android OS June security patch.
Android 7.1.1 brings features including app shortcuts (with a compatible launcher – the Xperia Home launcher does not support app shortcuts at present).
There are also other improvements including longer battery life, a self-timer button for the front camera, a new Xperia launcher with integrated Google Now pane, multi-window support, and all of Nougat’s new features.
If your phone hasn’t received the OTA Android 7.1.1 Nougat update 32.4.A.0.160 for Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet and Z3 Plus smartphones, check manually and be patient. These things take a while to reach everyone.
