Cyanogen has released CyanogenMod 14.1 nightlies based on Android 7.1 Nougat for some devices. Support devices include the Google Nexus 5, Nextbit Robin, Oppo R5/R5s, LG G Pad 7 LTE, Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and Oppo R7 Plus.
The Moto X Pure Edition CyanogenMod 14.1 nightly build is currently isn’t completely functional, there are reports of kernel panics as well as camera issues. Other devices including the Samsung Galaxy S III (GSM LTE), the Xiaomi Mi4i and Redmi 3/Prime are now also receiving an update on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based CyanogenMod 13 nightlies.
As you might already know, nightlies aren’t usually stable, you may encounter bugs. Also, installing them can also result in a bricked device, but also void your handset’s warranty.
