Google Project Ara smartphone may have been canceled according to new rumors. Google project Ara is the concept of a phone with interchangeable modules for various components like cameras and batteries. Project Ara was first announced by Motorola.
Google will not release any Ara phone itself, instead, it will license the technology to other partners. There are also rumors that the company will remove Nexus branding and release next google phone as Pixel branding.
