HTC 10 update 2.51.617.21 released with BlueBorne security fix

HTC 10 (unlocked) is now receiving a new software update 2.51.617.21 in the US. The latest patch has fixed the BlueBorne security vulnerability which lets a hacker gain control over everything on Android device, all your files, camera, microphone, etc. just by being in range of your device’ Bluetooth connection.

In addition, the new firmware update includes Android September security patch which addresses a total of 81 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS.

Software update 2.51.617.21 for HTC 10 will gradually release to everyone. You can also check manually for updates, go to Settings > About device > System update.
