Electronic Arts has announced that the upcoming release of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be prefaced by a closed beta, arriving in the coming months. Details surrounding what the beta entails are currently scarce, but is confirmed to be playable on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via an invite from EA.
Provided that you have access to an EA account, the beta sign-up form is now open to the public on the official Mirror’s Edge site. Signing up for the beta doesn’t guarantee access to the testing period, but will enter you into a draw to be randomly selected closer to the beta’s release.
A trailer promoting the single-player story surfaced alongside the announcement, that showcases the game’s expansive world and teases elements of Faith’s backstory. The trailer also introduces numerous new faces, set to make their debut in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst arrives May 24th Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via EA’s distribution service, Origin.
