Android 8.0 Oreo is now rolling out for OnePlus 5T smartphone in the form of OxygenOS 5.0.2. The new OS includes several new features and improvements. New features like Parallel Apps, Auto-fill, Picture-in-Picture, Smart text selection, new design for Quick Settings, and some other OnePlus features are now available for OnePlus 5T owners.

In addition, the update also fixes Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities with the January 2018 security patch.

OxygenOS 5.0.2 update for OnePlus 5T smartphones will roll out over the air. Once there, be sure to connect to a WiFi network before installing the update to avoid extra data charges. Also, make sure that your OnePlus device is at least 50 percent charged.
