Samsung launched its budget consensus Z2 smartphone for just Rs4590($68). Samsung Z2 is powered by Tizen OS and also the first Tizen device to support 4G. The Z2 specs include a 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory.
Samsung Z2 features also includes an Ultra Data Saving mode, which compresses data by “up to 40 percent,” and a bike mode, which makes it easier to field calls when the user is riding. Samsung is also releasing the handset alongside a $185,000 challenge for developers to build games for Tizen.
Samsung Z2 will also come with a 90-day free trial of Reliance Jio 4G. With Reliance Jio, users will get free access to unlimited data, video calling, on-demand movies and TV shows, and a music streaming service.
