Skype Lite app is now receiving Group Video Calling support, Ruuh AI bot, and a new collection of Diwali themed emoticons in India. Group Video Calling allows anyone to join the group video or audio call on Skype Lite. Simply tap on the call tab and start the group call. You can also share group call link with your friends on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or SMS, and invite them to join the call.
Anyone who receives the group video call link from you can join the call as a guest on Skype Lite right away by providing a name, without the need to sign up or sign into a Skype account anymore. The guest account is valid for 24 hours.
In addition of Group Video Calling, a new Skype bot Ruuh is also available on all Skype products in India. She can chat as well as help you create personalized Diwali cards. To try the bot, tap on discover tab on Skype Lite and select Ruuh bot.
On the occasion of Diwali festival, a new collection of Diwali themed emoticons is now rolling out on all Skype products in India.
