Slack app gets video calling on Windows 10 and Mac

Slack launched video calling feature to its app on Windows and Mac. The company introduced voice calls on Windows, Mac, and Mobile devices earlier this year. The latest video call feature from Slack lets users make group video calls with up to 15 users, as well as video calls between two members of the team.

You can also use emoji response in video calls which essentially lets you respond with emojis while you are in a group video call. To initiate video calls, you need to call as normal by clicking the phone button in the Slack app. From there, click the camera icon from in the call to turn on your video.

The company will also release Video Calling feature on Chrome over the next few days. The feature also brings the app closer in competition to Microsoft Teams.
