As we have already reported earlier, VLC UWP for Windows 10 is in development. last month Thomas posted few video clips on twitter.

New VLC UWP app may arrive on Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile and Xbox One. The Windows 10 VLC app will support an in-app Picture in Picture mode that would allow users to browse the app while watching a video.
