Acer has announced the Predator Triton 700 gaming laptop. This is the first laptop in the company’s new line of Predator Triton ultrathin gaming laptops.
The Acer Predator Triton 700 is a slim, aluminum-cased gaming laptop. The laptop is only 18 mm (0.74 inches) thick. The new gaming laptop is powered by seventh-generation Intel Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA GTX 10-series graphics cards, two PCIe SSDs, and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM.
However, the laptop display is only 1080p supported. The laptop also comes with a mechanical keyboard with LED-illuminated keys.
Acer has moved the keyboard to the very front of the laptop, moving the trackpad toward the top of the laptop where it’s hidden under a Gorilla Glass panel. This should make it easier to reach the keys for gaming, at the expense of making the mouse more difficult to use.
The Predator Triton 700 is expected to go on sale in August starting at €3,399 ($3,692.84).
