Backpack Hero update is now available to download on PC. According to the official Backpack Hero patch notes, the latest update addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Backpack Hero version will fix a few of these issues.

Backpack Hero Patch Notes – June 27, 2024
- Fixed burn damage to apply before enemies lose their shields.
- Fixed bugs in the modded debug menu.
- Fixed issues where relics and pets wouldn’t spawn.
- Fixed modded relics that weren’t spawning.
- Fixed some modded components and relics appearing too low on the screen.
- Fixed unique items and relics from not spawning if another item with the same name existed.
- Fixed modded items with custom sprite scale reverting to default size when reloading a save.
- Added the option to hide descriptions for movement and addmodifier effects in modded items.
- Disabled Managed Stripping to improve compatibility with certain mods.
- Updated translations for the game.
