CRETE Playtest update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official CRETE Playtest patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s CRETE Playtest patch will fix a few of these issues.

CRETE Playtest Patch Notes – November 2, 2024
- Fixed a bug that equipped Hephaistos by default.
- Fixed a bug where client couldn’t see the gate opening.
- Fixed a bug where Ancestors didn’t spawn DNA if the upper body blew up.
- Fixed a bug where toxic cryo-eggs didn’t spawn necrosis cloud.
- Fixed a bug where you could bring DNA/Mutations from basecamp dummies.
- Gliders now get aggroed when they receive damage.
- Gliders now fly in a more interesting pattern.
- Necrosis AOE reduced damage in players (from eggs and mutation).
- Necrosis increased damage in AOE (eggs, mutation).
