CRETE Playtest update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official CRETE Playtest patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s CRETE Playtest patch will fix a few of these issues.

CRETE Playtest Patch Notes – November 6, 2024
- Many network feel fixes, such as improved recoil and camera shakes, faster replication, optimizations and other bugfixes.
- Fixed an issue where you could only roll forward in the boss fight.
- Better shooting animation when players is running without aiming.
- Potential fixes when gates don’t open in the second biome (Still testing to find the cause).
- Bug fix where the lighting on Biome1 was not dynamic.
- Reduced the sound on Sanguis lupus when they were affected by necrosis.
- Chrys ponytail now collides as expected, which… is cool.
- Increased damage of aoe of Nucleic Javeline.
- Reduced a number of annoying camera shakes.
- Titan shockwave is now more powerful and epic.
- Little adjustments in the orientation of some guns.
Hotfix:
- Difficulty 2 now is working as expected (previous patch removed difficulty 2)
- Polished the input response after a cutscene
- Improved the ratio of mutation compatibility Chrys/Demian in a coop match.
- Adjusted frequency of plants rarity.
