Crime Scene Cleaner update 1.0.2R is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Crime Scene Cleaner patch notes, the latest update 1.0.2R added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Crime Scene Cleaner patch 1.0.2R will fix a few of these issues.

Crime Scene Cleaner Patch 1.0.2R Notes – August 22, 2024
- Fixed settings not scrolling with gamepad
- Changed button for skipping cutscenes on gamepad to “A”
- Fixed FOV and brightness settings not persisting between scenes
- Fixed FOV resetting to incorrect value after taking photos in “Affair with Death”
- Added glass shards to middle house in “Party’s Over” mission
- Updated lighting in “Trial by Blood” mission
- Fixed issue in “Short Circuit” where you can’t fix cat’s pictures
- Fixed softlock when opening photo mode and tablet at the same time in “Affair with Death”
- Fixed mouse stutter when looking around while walking
- Fixed some items in “Party’s Over” mission incorrectly counting as trash
- Fixed player camera flipping around and inverting controls
- Fixed level 2 sponge having stats of base sponge
- Updated some Korean & Polish translations
- Fixed incorrect values during cutscenes
- Fixed power washer sometimes shooting in a very small area
- Slightly buffed power washer base stats
- Updated colliders in many missions to reduce cases where trash is stuck out of reach
