Dell Stack Intel based Windows 10 Mobile device details

A new leaked information about Dell’s mobile device appeared online. Dell was planning to build x86 Intel Core M processor based Windows 10 Mobile handset, with 4GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The device also supposed to feature 6.4 inches display, 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras, as well as an iris scanner supporting Windows Hello biometric authentication.

Dell was developing the device as one device that you can use as a desktop, laptop or tablet. Dell Stack would’ve taken advantage of Continuum, which allows it to transform into a desktop environment with a familiar taskbar, start menu and more. The device was scheduled to launch in the Spring of 2017, but currently, there is now news about the Dell Stack.

It’s possible that Dell canceled the device after Intel kill off its ATOM line of CPUs. It is also possible that the company is waiting for Microsoft to enable x86 support in Windows 10 Mobile OS.
