A new Dread Dawn update released on PC. According to the official Dread Dawn patch notes, the latest update addresses some bugs and crashes.
Since the last patch, players are experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Dread Dawn patch will fix a few of these issues.

Dread Dawn Patch Notes – Jan. 16, 2025
- Added helmets, armor, gloves, and knee pads as rewards for teammates when they go out searching for supplies.
- The level of the helmets, armor, gloves, and knee pads found will be determined by the highest level achieved in history.
- Introduced logic whereby rainwater can automatically irrigate farmlands on other maps when it rains, affecting all maps.
- Updated the group number for the new issue feedback group under the Chinese language setting.
- Added a notification for using the middle mouse button to dismantle rotating iron rods, preventing issues related to lack of guidance.
- Fixed an issue where the camera zoom could not be restored after death.
- Added and modified some translations related to notifications to ensure clearer and more accurate communication of game information.
- For ultrawide screens, you can now achieve a normal aspect ratio by switching to windowed mode and then dragging and resizing the window borders.
- Adjusted the speed for crafting large quantities of items in the crafting panel; you can now hold the right mouse button to quickly craft items.
- Fixed an issue where non-stackable items like weapons would disappear if quickly crafted when the backpack is full.
