Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 and J3 now receiving update J500FNXXS1BQG1

Samsung has released a new software update G610FDXU1AQF1 for Galaxy J7 Prime and update G570MUBU1AQG1 for Galaxy J5 Prime. The company also released update J500FNXXS1BQG1 for Galaxy J5 and update J320FDDU0AQG1 for Galaxy J3. The updates comes with Android July security patch and bug fixes.

The Android July security patch fixes a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS. There are additional patches designed specifically for Galaxy-branded smartphones.

The new firmware update for Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 Prime, J5 and J3 will gradually roll out to everyone. You can also check manually for updates, go to Settings > About device > System update.

Make sure you have enough charge on your device at least 60% to 70% before downloading the update.
