Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 receiving update G928VVRU3CQF3 with WiFi Calling improvements and more

Verizon has released a new software update G928VVRU3CQF3 for Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and update N920VVRU3CQF3 for Galaxy Note 5 smartphone in the US. The update comes with Android July security patch as well as other improvements.

The Android July security patch fixes a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS. There are additional patches designed specifically for Galaxy-branded smartphones. In addition, the firmware update also includes bug fixes and other improvements.

The update improves voice over Wi-Fi calls as well as fixes a Google search app issue which occurred in Easy Mode. The new software update also brings Notification for no app space.

You can also check manually for updates, go to Settings > About device > System update. Make sure you have enough charge on your device at least 60% to 70% before downloading the update.
