Grocery Store Simulator update 0.5 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Grocery Store Simulator patch notes, the latest update 0.5 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Grocery Store Simulator patch 0.5 will fix a few of these issues.

- Exterior customization.
- Cardboard compactor: One cardboard box gives you $0.25
- New beer labels: Now easier to identify each one.
- Added lights to fridges.
- Ability to change decoration light intensity: OFF/LOW/HIGH

- Added time display on computer user interface.
- Sorting tabs now work in “ORDER GOODS”.
- Refresh button now works in “CHANGE PRICES” tab.
- Search bar now works in “CHANGE PRICES” tab.
- Fixed prices not updating after changes.
- Tab buttons now remain pressed.
- Message displayed when max store level is reached.
- Message displayed when max store size is reached.
[FIXES]
- Fixed issue with placing equipment on carpets.
- Fixed overlapping boxes with carpets.
- Fixed collision issues between some equipment and boxes in placement mode.
- Fixed instruction box consuming mouse input.
[MISC]
- Updated error text when failing to throw a box into the dumpster to avoid confusion.
- Fixed incorrect LOD distances for some meshes.
- Corrected store entrance light position.
- Hidden crosshair when using screens.
