Microsoft is not working on Halo 5 for Windows 10 PC. Since the release of Halo 5 guardians in last October for Xbox One, there were rumors that Microsoft may bring Xbox One exclusive game to Windows 10. Even Halo franchise director Frank O’Connor said in late October “there is plenty of chance that Halo 5 could appear on the PC.”
Today, Microsoft spokesperson in a statement said
Our approach is to deliver epic Halo experiences designed for PC gamers and Windows 10, such as Halo Wars 2 and the recently announced Halo 5: Forge. There are no plans to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC.
So, there will be no Halo 5 for Windows 10 PC this E3. The company is expected to announce a new “slim” version of Xbox One, “Xbox TV” streaming devices, and details about future Xbox hardware upgrades at E3 2016.
