A new software update EMUI 5.0.1 for Huawei Honor 6X (BLN-L24) smartphone is now available for download in the US. The latest update brings fixes and improvements to the phone as well as Android October security patch.
The Android October security patch brings fixes for vulnerabilities and exposures in the Android OS. The firmware build update also includes device stability improvements, bug fixes and further improvements for performance.
Honor 6X update will gradually release to everyone. You can also check manually for updates, go to Settings > About device > System update.
Make sure you have enough charge on your device at least 60% to 70% before downloading the update.
