HTC today announced HTC U11 Plus smartphone. The new smartphone from HTC features a larger 6-inch Super LCD 6 display with 2880×1440 resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It also supports HDR10. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back.
The new HTC U11 Plus is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, 4/6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of inbuilt storage, 12MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a larger 3930mAh battery. The device also features a see-through color called Translucent Black. The phone will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
The latest Edge Sense technology on the U11+ will allow users to squeeze the phone to launch a new launcher that shows both Apps and Notifications.
Unfortunately, the HTC U11+ will be sold in Europe, Asia and other regions. You can buy the new smartphone starting November 20th for £699. This variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
