Idle Clans Update Patch Notes – October 28, 2024

Idle Clans update is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Idle Clans patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.

Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Idle Clans patch will fix a few of these issues.

Exterminating points

• Completing Exterminating assignments awards you with Exterminating points
  • These can be used in the new Exterminating shop. It currently contains 2 items to purchase:
    • Cancel assignment – cancels your current assignment. This is a repeating purchase
    • Auto completer – purchased once and unlocked indefinitely. With this, you’ll automatically receive and start new Exterminating assignments as you complete them. Works both online and offline
  • The game shop has a new tradeable token for $3.99 that when activate, you’ll permanently receive 25% more Exterminating points from assignments

What happens to existing completionist capes?

• Currently, nothing. Exterminating does not yet have its own skill cape so your existing completionist capes will continue working as before

The skill is still far from finished. I didn’t want to overwhelm you (and myself) with too much stuff at once but you can expect additions to the Exterminating shop, Exterminating monster drop tables and eventually new Exterminating monsters as well. I hope even in its current state it’ll keep you entertained for a good while though – there is a fair amount of stuff to go through and obtain!

Note: Exterminating won’t appear in Leaderboards quite yet

Other changes

• Skilling pages can now be dragged by pressing empty space between instantiated elements
• Build sizes should now be significantly smaller
• Fixed pressing the “‘Player’ sent you an item” notification not opening the item withdrawal popup if you weren’t in the profile page
• Item requirements for upgrades are now displayed more clearly
• All monsters in the game have received graphical updates to be a little more “flat” and more in tune with the rest of the game (note: known issue that some monsters may appear slightly smaller than they should on some platforms)
• Small bug fixes and tweaks here and there that went untracked
