Idle Hero TD update 12.0 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Idle Hero TD patch notes, the latest update 12.0 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Idle Hero TD patch 12.0 will fix a few of these issues.

Idle Hero TD Patch 12.0 Notes – April 16, 2025
Backend:
- Changed several data types in the game to support numbers larger than e308, meaning there is now tons of room for new multiplicative bonuses, bigger damage and gold numbers, and much higher waves 🙂
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed error preventing some Android users from loading the game.
- Unlocking new automation function/workshop slots now correctly adds to your gems spent challenges.
- If a server save fails due to a “time out”, it will automatically retry again right away. Hopefully this solves the issue with cloud saves on slower networks.
- Fixed bug where some pop-up windows would grow larger and larger if closed and opened quickly.
- Various other minor bug fixes and UI corrections.
