IfSunSets update 0.3.13 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official IfSunSets patch notes, the latest update 0.3.13 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s IfSunSets patch 0.3.13 will fix a few of these issues.

IfSunSets Patch 0.3.13 Notes – November 21, 2024
■ Main Fixes
- Fixed an issue where data saving was not working properly when a guest entered or exited.
- Fixed a bug where the Second Players Level in Multiplayer was set to 5 upon entering multiplayer.
■ Performance
- Reduced frame drop issues, which appeared when moving items or acquiring items while scrolling down the crafting list.
- Reduced frame drops when moving characters between worlds.
■ Gameplay
- Made some quest items respawnable.
- Fixed a bug that allowed teleportation during night waves.
* Teleportation is now disabled during the “Night of the Dead” event. - Enabled storage and discarding of some quest items.
- Made it possible to build on the Turtle Island (Stone Island) at the edge of the sea.
- You will now receive invincibility time while consuming gravestone items.
- Changed price of the “Cthuga Fragment” to the intended value.
- Fixed an issue where monsters would spawn at incorrect times during save/load.
- Corrected the issue where some monsters’ attack hitboxes were handled incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where there was no gravestone at the spot where a guest died.
- Changed the desert dungeon’s orb item to be respawnable.
- Fixed an issue where monsters did not spawn at night in dungeons.
- Fixed an issue where the fairy would become large and appear when dying from a high place.
- Fixed an issue where Logan’s exchange window was not functioning properly.
- Fixed an intermittent issue where fairy skills couldn’t be used after death and resurrection.
- Fixed the issue where the last dialogue box of tied NPCs closed too quickly, preventing the player from reading it.
- Fixed the issue where guest data was sometimes saved incorrectly when a room was closed.
- Modified the desert dungeon’s key item, Orb, to respawn.
- Made the keys in the castle dungeon respawnable.
- Changed dungeon monsters to spawn even at night.
- Fixed the issue where the animation for spike traps in the castle dungeon appeared differently for hosts and guests.
- Fixed the issue where the installation detection for the 1×1 cube was too large, preventing proper placement.
- Fixed the issue where stun effects from weapons (like the Knight’s Hammer) carried over to regular weapon attacks.
- Fixed the issue where construction of triangular floor panels overlapped due to incorrect construction detection.
- Fixed the issue where right-clicking a specific item (construction hammer) from the hotbar caused the mouse cursor to appear in the wrong position, returning the item to the inventory. The cursor now always appears at the center of the screen.
- Fixed the issue where large stairs placed on top of a 2×2 cube would slightly float above the connection point.
- Fixed the issue where buildings using symmetry in the hammer menu would lose symmetry when saving/loading.
- Changed doors to be upgradable.
- Made the “Spear of the Imperial Guardian” upgradeable.
- Fixed an issue which appeared after patch 0.3.12, where upgrades didn’t apply visual changes to buildings properly.
- Reduced the issue where the host using teleport would cause the client to forcibly exit the game during item duplication in boxes.
- Fixed an issue where items decomposed differently than expected when the Trap Expert skill was unlocked.
- Fixed the issue where cooking pots sometimes failed to reset cooking progress properly.
- Fixed an issue where merchant item multipliers didn’t apply in world settings.
- Fixed an issue where swimming proficiency was too high, causing oxygen to not deplete.
- Fixed an issue where items would duplicate when destroying boxes.
■ Terrain
- Fixed the desert’s stone terrain which players were able to walk on.
- Fixed stone cliffs in the desert.
■ Audio
- Fixed an issue where BGM did not play after returning to the main screen during gameplay.
■ User Interface & Localization
- Adjusted the size of markers on the map.
- Increased the visibility of the crosshair.
- Fixed an issue where item detail UI was too small in some languages.
- Fixed an issue where the fishing HUD would occasionally fail to disappear on the client side.
- Corrected text on the map that was incorrectly translated for certain situations.
■ Balancing
- Increased the strength of the boss “Worms,” which was weaker than intended.
- Slightly buffed the stats of the boss “Ironheart.”
