iRacing Patch 2024.07.12.02 Notes – July 15, 2024
SIMULATION:
- Practice Sessions: Driver count displayed in Open Practice will only show number of Drivers, not Teams.
- AI Racing:
- Improved wet racing lines for AI on various tracks, especially in heavy rain.
- Fixed AI pit strategies (less unnecessary stops).
- Fixed multiclass AI grid order for races with many classes.
- Controls:
- Simagic 360Hz Mode temporarily disabled (testing ongoing).
- Latest Simucube API integrated.
- Fixed Force Feedback issue with Simucube wheels (enable360HzInterpolated=0).
- Paint Shop:
- Fixed a texture seam in a helmet paint pattern.
CARS:
- GTP Class Cars: Updated windshield glass shaders.
- Street Stock Car Class: Fixed damage model issue causing bonus engine penalty from minor nose impacts.
- Specific Car Fixes:
- Acura ARX-06 GTP: Fixed incorrect glass reflections.
- Audi 90 GTO: Full damage repair enabled.
- Legends Ford ’34 Coupe: Stiffer rear bumpers in damage model.
- Ligier JS P320: Reduced nose break limits in damage model.
- Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020: Fixed lighting issue with digital display.
- Nissan GTP ZXT: Full damage repair enabled, increased rear wing repair time.
- VW Beetle: Reduced body damage transfer to engine in damage model.
- [Legacy] Dallara DW12: Full wheel damage repair enabled, increased wheel repair time.
TRACKS:
- Motorsport Arena Oschersleben: Fixed a floating fence.
- Oswego Speedway: Adjusted main grandstand crowds and (Dirt) grandstand.
- Winton Motor Raceway: Fixed visual popping with tire barriers and wraps.
