Lakeburg Legacies update 1.0.0.10 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Lakeburg Legacies patch notes, the latest update 1.0.0.10 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Lakeburg Legacies patch 1.0.0.10 will fix a few of these issues.

Lakeburg Legacies Patch 1.0.0.10 Notes – July 25, 2023
- Optimized animations on the map to make the game smoother and reduce memory usage
- Optimized the rendering to make the game smoother
- Most Simplified Chinese characters should now be displayed correctly again!
- Swiping through villagers from Lakeburg in the dating system and closing the popup no longer causes a softlock if one of them dies.
- Children will now inherit congenital traits from their own parents instead of other couples.
- The tooltip on the Recruitment button no longer displays notifications from the Barter system.
- The Build button is back at the top of the list!
- Hovering the warning icon on an illicit building slot can no longer trigger an error.
- The Shortage of resources event now distributes the correct resources (weapons or tools) for each choice.
- “The boars’ ball” event now distributes the Bothered trait to the right character.
BALANCING
Couples:
- Adjusted the evolution of couples’ relationship: it is now harder for couples with a very good affinity level to lose some affinity.
Genetics
- Babies now have a lot more chances to obtain congenital traits from their parents, and a few more chances to obtain congenital traits from their grandparents (through dormant traits present in the parents).
Events
- “Homeless child”: the frequency at which this event triggers has been adjusted.
