Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Update 1.5 Patch Notes – May 27, 2025

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree update 1.5 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree patch notes, the latest update 1.5 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.

Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree patch 1.5 will fix a few of these issues.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Patch 1.5 Notes – May 27, 2025

New Content

  • Added a new small optional area to Braer Castle with a valuable reward.
  • Added a new ring item (Guild’s Compliment), which improves the early game experience with the Nightshade class.
  • Added a new early game weapon Runestone Diagram: Minor Runestone of Ferocity – Increases Physical Damage of the weapon by 5%.
  • Added a new early game weapon Runestone Diagram: Minor Magic Runestone – Increases all Magic damage dealt by 2.5%.
  • Added a new early game weapon runestone: Minor Astral Runestone – Adds 15 Astral Damage. Available at the Occultist at level 6.
  • Added a new early game weapon runestone: Minor Fire Runestone – Adds 15 Fire Damage. Available at the Occultist at level 6.
  • Added a new early game weapon runestone: Minor Wyld Runestone – Adds 15 Wyld Damage. Available at the Occultist at level 6.
  • Added a new early game weapon runestone: Minor Chaos Runestone – Adds 15 Chaos Damage. Available at the Occultist at level 6.
  • Added a new secret chamber in Forsaken Mine.
  • Added a new diagram: Frost Oil to Forsaken Mine.
  • Added a new portal between Rhys and Yrsa to improve navigation after both have joined your Caravan.
  • Added three new skin colors and two new tattoo options to the character creator.

Entropy Changes

  • Entropy platforming flow has been adjusted to improve the overall gameplay feeling.
  • Adjusted late-game Entropy balance to enhance flow and overall experience.
  • Entropy Rift entry portals no longer instantly close when entering Rifts, allowing players to leave.
  • Players now respawn inside the Entropy Rift instead of outside the entrance to prevent double loading screens.

Gameplay Changes

  • Fully explored areas now receive a checkmark on the map.
  • Added new combat feedback behavior to the enemy Health bar.
  • Adrenaline bar is now displayed if Eternal Rage Talent is unlocked.
  • Mana bar is now displayed if Scorching Shield Talent is unlocked.
  • Miniboss Health bar width has been adjusted.
  • Increased the maximum number of map markers to 50.
  • Upon completing a tracked quest, the tracker now automatically selects the Main Quest instead of the next quest.
  • When an Artisan Vendor reaches maximum level, the next level is no longer shown in red.
  • Repositioned some enemies in Braer Castle’s Right Wing to allow smoother traversal.
  • If the player’s character fails a single Pendulum trap while still having enough health, they will now respawn just before the trap.
  • Ring tooltips now correctly indicate that they are unique-equipped.
  • Fall deaths and Trap deaths are now separated from enemy-caused deaths in the Statistics window, creating more space to display bosses and other enemies.
  • Poison damage dexterity scaling has been increased.
  • Assassin Ring’s physical critical chance bonus has been increased to 7% (up from 5%).
  • Hechima’s Claws’ poison chance and poison damage bonus have been increased.
  • Envenom’s Dexterity scaling upgrade bonus has been increased to 20% (up from 10%).
  • Rosalie now sells an infinite amount of food.
  • Consecration’s damage and scaling have been increased.
  • Magic Runestone now increases Frost damage as well.
  • Removed the Combo point cost increase from the following Skill upgrades: Detonate Toxin, Reactive Blast, Toxic Shiv.
  • Ataxia and Illina’s Blade of Revenge are now set to be tradeable.
  • Shadowstep invulnerability upgrade duration has been slightly decreased.
  • Illina’s Blade of Revenge magic critical chance bonus has been changed to physical critical chance.

Fixes

  • Fixed various crashes.
  • Fixed various voice-over issues.
  • Fixed several traversal exploits.
  • Fixed multiple translation issues in various languages.
  • Fixed an issue where the summoned Imp might stutter and stop attacking after using an elevator.
  • Fixed an issue where the sawblade killed the player multiple times.
  • Fixed an issue where, in some cases, travel was not possible while at a Witch Stone.
  • Fixed an issue where some platforms were visually larger than their gameplay sizes, causing players to unintentionally fall to their deaths.
  • Fixed an issue where Essence remained uncollectable after completing a quest.
  • Fixed an issue where Unique-Equipped ring items could be incorrectly stacked.
  • Fixed an issue where the Enrage effect would not correctly be displayed on the HUD after swapping sets.
  • Fixed an issue where the area name would not be correctly displayed on the map.
  • Fixed an issue where the Bestiary would be unintentionally small in the Large UI scale mode.
  • Fixed multiple issues where the Bestiary texts would not update correctly after changing the input method in real time.
  • Fixed an issue where no animation would be played in cutscenes after skipping some of them.
  • Fixed an issue where the Collection UI displayed duplicate item icons and empty slots for certain collected items.
  • Fixed an issue where the ‘No Stone Unturned’ achievement would not trigger after collecting all Diagrams.
  • Fixed an issue where Matron Layla’s Pummel ability pushed the player in the wrong direction.
  • Fixed an issue where the tooltip in the Enchant Window displayed lower weapon stats when overwriting existing Runestone enchants.
  • Fixed a rare bug that sometimes caused the Phoenix Talent to resurrect the player at the bottom of the final boss room.
  • Fixed an issue where the Sic ‘Em! Talent would sometimes stop working.
  • Fixed the Elemental Efficiency talent to properly reduce the mana cost of all spells.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Allemag Cavalier set from increasing the Bleed duration caused by Uppercut.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented a map marker from being placed on the map.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Bell’s visual effect to not play properly in Crimson City.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Armor Breaker talent from resetting upon death in Entropy.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Bestiary update message to appear every time a new Entropic enemy was killed.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Wyld Echo to repeat its effect at the player’s location instead of the Discharge location.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Backlash’s disengage movement to be canceled if Backlash killed its target.
  • Fixed the tooltips for Warrior’s Might and Elevated Spirit to correctly display their bonuses.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a Nightstalker to become stuck in a door in Lochmuir Village.
  • Fixed a visual bug that caused the Entropic Skull to face the wrong direction while attacking.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Light Barrier to remain active on the player after using a Witch Stone.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the player’s character to get stuck when rolling into a Grappling Hook point.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Blood Eye’s attack visual effect to remain visible after it was killed.
