Microsoft Photos Companion app for Android and iOS is now available for download. The new app is an experimental app from the Microsoft’s Garage Project. With this app, you can now directly transfer photos and videos from phone to PC over Wi-Fi. Just scan a code and start the transfer. However, both your phone and PC should be on the same Wi-Fi network.
The new Photos Companion app features will require the latest Microsoft Photos app version 2018.18011.13110.0 or higher on Windows 10.
