Microsoft Project Rome will enable third-party applications to interact with the Windows system. Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14328 has some evidence of this new feature. In Privacy> General there are two new options for hand-off(OSX name of the same feature).
In recent months, some rumor claimed that Microsoft will introduction the function similar to hand-off of OSX. Hand-off feature in OSX allows users to start a business on one device(Smartphone) and continue it on another(PC). Cortana already have a function similar to that in the form of missed calls. The new feature will also work through the Internet and Bluetooth.
