MX vs ATV Legends update 3.08 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official MX vs ATV Legends patch notes, the latest update 3.08 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s MX vs ATV Legends patch 3.08 will fix a few of these issues.

Additions & Updates
DLC
- 2024 Unadilla, Budds Creek, and Ironman tracks have been updated for their upcoming releases in the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross!
- Bonus tracks for the final rounds of the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross will be Unadilla Invitational, Budds Creek SX, and Ironman Invitational!
Customization
- Limited Edition Gear from the Fox 50 Year Collection has been added! Head to the locker to try on the Fox 50th Limited Edition 360 jersey and pants, Flexair gloves, and Vue goggles.
- More Fox gear coming soon! August and September will both see coordinated drops of brand new gear from Fox’s upcoming catalogue. Keep an eye on our socials @MXvsATV to catch the release.
Fixes & Improvements
Physics
- Pit Bikes: lowered the amount of slip required to break the rear tire loose, especially for the MX 50.
- MX 50: adjusted engine & clutch to give it more bottom-end power.
- Pit Bikes and MX 500 tuning parts: Adjusted Engine, Clutch, and Brake tuning parts to better match the speed, acceleration, power, and RPMs of each bike.
- Pit Bikes: lowered wreck and near-wreck thresholds; it was nearly impossible to trigger near-wrecks previously.
- Turning while reversing is now easier, smoother, and more effective on all MX Bikes.
Audio
- Made general improvements to the engine audio of the 500, 110F, and 50.
DLC
- 2024 RedBud Pit Bike track will now also appear in the Pit Bike category, in addition to National category for races and time trials.
Tracks
- Updated the Cornfield Pit Bike track to improve reset locations, prevent incorrect off-track notifications, and prevent obstacle bypassing.
Gameplay
- Improved airborne behaviors of Pit Bike and MX 500 AI.
- Fixed a soft lock related to NPC interactions during the career. Players experiencing this issue are expected to be able to recover and continue the career.
- Increased stunt input deadzone to reduce incorrect stunt triggers.
UI
- Replaced Split Time in Waypoint HUD with Split Time list panel which displays split times and checkpoints down for all racers as they cross checkpoints.
- The Event Name is now displayed at the start of an online Freestyle event.
- Fixed missing Waypoint location HUD elements in Split Screen.
Customization
- Added colorization to Renthal Original grips.
- Added new Fox 50th anniversary jersey, pants, gloves, and goggles.
- Added colorization to Rainbow Crosshatch grips.
- Added a None plastics part for Pit Bikes.
Animation
- Updated Pit Bike riding animations to make the rider more reactive to bumps and ruts.
- Adjusted Pit Bike riding animations to improve the appearance and smoothness when cornering and when changing body position to stay upright over the leaning bike.* Improved body, feet, and hand positions during walking animations.
- Lowered speed required to go from walking to riding on Pit Bikes.
Other
- Fixed issue causing crashes when launching events in the large open world maps, particularly Online.
- Fixed periodic crashes when using ATVs or UTVs.
Known Issues
Gameplay
- Frame rates exceeding 60 FPS may experience visual errors and inconsistent gameplay behaviors, especially when exceeding 120 FPS.
Customization
- Graphic Kit colorization may not appear on the Element 110F when loading into an event. The issue is not permanent and resolves itself when re-equipping the vehicle or restarting the event. We are still investigating the cause.
