Nordic Ashes update 1.2.1.3 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Nordic Ashes patch notes, the latest update 1.2.1.3 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Nordic Ashes patch 1.2.1.3 will fix a few of these issues.

Nordic Ashes Patch 1.2.1.3 Notes – October 11, 2024
- Alruna will be less painless to unlock. You will need to reach Talkôr’s chamber before the final boss with at least 1 ice heart, not defeating the boss as it used to be.
- Visual bug in the character selection panel, where the selected character could appear behind the others.
- Secret characters and their skins were showcased in black. After unlocking them, their skins will now be shown in grey, not black.
- After unlocking Lorcan and entering a run, the playable character would be the previous on you had selected.
- Halloween weapon Fear Skullcap alpha now works properly.
- The explanation on how to unlock the second ascension of Ancestral Relics has been improved.
- Small translation fixes in various languages.
