Nuclear Option Playtest update 0.22.81 is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Nuclear Option Playtest patch notes, the latest update 0.22.81 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Nuclear Option Playtest patch 0.22.81 will fix a few of these issues.

Nuclear Option Playtest Patch 0.22.81 Notes – July 24, 2023
- Fixed missile salvos all tracking the first target if the fire button is held down
- Fixed FGA-57 Anvil not targeting cruise missiles
- Fixed rare case causing ground vehicles to ignore targets
- Reduced delay for parachutes opening when ejecting
- Added more variety to small explosion sounds
- Fixed bridge defense mission immediately showing failure screen
- Fixed SAMs being unable to attack bombs at all
