Pacific Drive update 1.8.2is now rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Pacific Drive patch notes, the latest update 1.8.2 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Pacific Drive patch 1.8.2 will fix a few of these issues.

Bugs and UX Fixes
- Fixed Custom Music stuttering during playback in the Garage
- Fixed an issue where saves sometimes would incorrectly claim there were missing DLC licenses on the Epic Games launcher
- Fixed Adaptive Trigger effects not firing correctly on DualSense controllers for PS5
- Fixed the video settings menu incorrectly displaying Windowed mode at 720p resolution any time the window mode or resolution settings were changed
- Fixed ‘more info’ L3 button on controller to view more information about an item – specifically in the player inventory screen
- Fixed an issue with tab labels in the crafting/logbook menus updating on a delay
- Fixed text on the ARC Device interface not properly displaying in recently added languages
- Fixed an issue where the players could progress past being able to unlock the Locked: Keypad Logbook entry
- Players can now scan the keypad in the garage even after its been unlocked to receive the Logbook entry
Known Issues
- AMD hardware is having intermittent stability issues
- Temporary fix: roll back to previous drivers, available via AMD Adrenalin
- Status effect icons on bumpers do not properly follow the icon when the bumper icon is rotated
- Radio Interstitial subtitles will appear regardless of how far player is from the radio
- Subtitles can sometimes appear ‘squished’ when in menus, or on loading screen
- Containers can be lootable through specific walls
- Tool instruction UI elements can sometimes shrink to an unreadable size
- Quick Fix: Using the tool as intended can reset the UI text
