Ships At Sea update 0.8.0.xx is now available to download on PC. According to the official Ships At Sea patch notes, the latest update 0.8.0.xx addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 0.8.0.xx added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Ships At Sea version 0.8.0.xx will fix a few of these issues.

Ships At Sea Patch 0.8.0.xx Notes – March 10, 2025
- Fixed an issue where the hook could get stuck, preventing the player from unequipping it
- Fixed an issue where gutting was not registering properly on Tier 3 fishing ship (Turbo)
- Fixed an issue where mooring got stuck on the crane in Røst
- Improved collision handling for medium and large cargo items to prevent unintended capsizing due to player interactions
