Sketchy’s Contract Update 0.1.0.2 Patch Notes – Nov. 21, 2024

A new Sketchy’s Contract update 0.1.0.2 released on PC. According to the official Sketchy’s Contract patch notes, the latest update addresses some bugs and crashes.

Since the last patch, players are experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Sketchy’s Contract patch 0.1.0.2 will fix a few of these issues.

UPDATES

  • Updated how session data is stored for the host to help prevent session inconsistencies that can lead to unexpected joins from random players.
  • Move the Remote Access Terminal to be more visually obvious for players to see when entering the med bay.
  • The Large Shelving unit has been slightly lowered vertically to allow the top shelves to be accessible for placing items (it was annoying to getting things up there).
  • Enemy AI will now path back to their origin once the player has run too far away from them. While an enemy is pathing back to its origin, it is unattackable and will reset its health.
  • Placed weapon types like baguette, cutlass, etc. are taking a delayed amount of time to register to the ship. This is because they do not spawn an instance static mesh version of themselves.
  • Updated the UI for Mr. Bigglesworth to make the tips more consolidated.
  • Added a new Monitor message in the ship for players that consistently forget to scan and bring a weapon with them…

FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where weapons were not saving to the ship after team wiping on a planet then logging out after returning to Orbit, causing those weapons to be gone when relaunching.
  • Fixed an issue where leaving session/closing the game after failing a contract would cause cosmetics such as furniture and plush to show as placed in the UI but no spawned in the ship the next time the player logged in.
  • Fixed an issue where items dropped via leave session/quit game appear floating in the air on next login.
  • Fixed an issue where players were receiving full XP from insurance if they team wiped on a planet. Wiping on a planet, should retain your loot based on Insurance, not give you XP based on what your insurance retained.
  • Fixed an issue causing window mode to default to “windowed” every time the settings window is open.
  • Fixed an issue where changing the window mode dropdown option was in fact causing some other video options such as “FPS Limit” to be changed.
  • Fixed an issue where players that tried to place items while another player was holding certain items such as the shrink ray would cause the placed item to appear floating in the air in front of them rather at the targeted placement location.
  • Fixed an issue where purchased loot from the look box would scatter aggressively into different directions due to collision.
  • Fixed an issue where the Lizard plush would spawn when mining on port lumen rather than on Port Sahariss.
  • Fixed an issue where the Lootbox would save to the ship when leaving/quitting.
  • Fixed an issue where credit pouches from crates could yield 0 credits.
  • Fixed an issue where using tab to open the settings menu was causing tab to not close the settings due to it navigating to different buttons.
