A new software update build N2G48C for Google Nexus 6P smartphone is now available for download. The update comes with Android August security patch.
The Android August security patch fixes a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS. In addition, the firmware update also includes bug fixes and other improvements.

In the first three days, 10,000 Google Nexus 6P phones will receive the software update build N2G48C followed by an additional 10 percent of the remaining pool in the next 4-13 days. On the 14th day, all Nexus 6P devices will become eligible for the update.
You can also check manually for updates, go to Settings > About device > System update. Make sure you have enough charge on your device at least 60% to 70% before downloading the update.
