Software Update N910VVRS2CQD1 for Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge

Verizon is now rolling out a new software update N910VVRS2CQD1 for Galaxy Note 4 and N915VVRS2CQE1 for Galaxy Note Edge in the US. The update includes Android May security patch to the device.

The new Android May security patch brings fixes for 55 vulnerabilities and exposures in the Android OS while Samsung has fixed some 11 bugs in its own software.

In addition, the security patch for Galaxy Note 4 fixes an issue surrounding email as well as updates the Amazon Shopping app.

The firmware update also includes device stability improvements, bug fixes and further improvements for performance.
