Sony Xperia XZ flagship announced with 23-megapixel camera

Today, Sony has launched new flagship phone Sony Xperia XZ. The new Sony Xperia XZ features a 23-megapixel camera, a laser autofocus and an RGBC infrared sensor, which accurately adjusts the white balance based on the light source. There’s a 13-megapixel camera with a maximum ISO up to 6400. Now you can take good images even in the dark. Sony also added 5-axis video stabilization for smooth video recording.

Apart from the camera, the Xperia XZ is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a fingerprint sensor which is built into its side-mounted power button, and 1080p resolution 5.2-inches display. The new Sony flagship phone also includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Sony Xperia XZ will come in new Forest Blue colorway.

Sony Xperia XZ is water-resistant and offers Qnovo adaptive charging, which “monitors and adjusts the charging” and USB-C on board. Sony has also launched Xperia X Compact, a 4.6-inch Android smartphone. The Xperia XZ will be available from the start of October.
