Steam Engine Simulator update 0.1.15a is now available to download on PC, Ps4, PS5, and Xbox one. According to the official Steam Engine Simulator patch notes, the latest update 0.1.15a addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 0.1.15a added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Steam Engine Simulator version 0.1.15a will fix a few of these issues.

Steam Engine Simulator 0.1.15a Patch Notes – June 9, 2023
- Added a pressure relief valve
- Flywheel is now much heavier (slightly unrealistic for this size of engine but makes the game easier to play)
- Audio when filling water is now smoother
- Removing water from the tank previously didn’t account for energy loss correctly
- Made audio volume slightly quieter
- Dampened some harsh audio frequencies
- Renamed “throttle” to “throttle valve” and reversed number reading on information panel
- Engine no longer makes an abrupt noise when the program is started
