Steam Engine Simulator update 0.1.17a is now available to download on PC, Ps4, PS5, and Xbox one. According to the official Steam Engine Simulator patch notes, the latest update 0.1.17a addresses some bugs and crashes.
Previously, a major update 0.1.17a added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Steam Engine Simulator version 0.1.17a will fix a few of these issues.

Steam Engine Simulator Patch 0.1.17a Notes – June 12, 2023
- Added steam whistle (can be actived by clicking and dragging handle or pressing up arrow)
- Mouse can now be dragged beyond the window border
- MMB added as alternative keybind for panning
- Issue with program sometimes playing audio after being closed should be fixed for most people
- Pressure relief valve minimum pressure raised
- Flame heat is now slightly higher
- Inputs are now slightly more responsive
