Microsoft is now rolling out a new December firmware update for Surface Pro 4. Previously, the device received the update at the end of August.
New in Surface Pro 4 update:
- Realtek Semiconductor Corp. driver for Realtek High Definition Audio (SST) – v6.0.1.7895 – Improves system stability and Cortana performance.
Today’s minor update only includes an audio driver, that improves stability and Cortana performance.
Currently, Microsoft released the firmware update for Surface Pro 4 only and there is no new update for Surface Book. Microsoft also released Windows 10 cumulative update kb3201845 build 14393.479.
