Surface Pro announced with 13.5 hours backup, 4G LTE and 165-degree hinge

Microsoft has announced it new Surface Pro device at the event in Shangai, China. The new device looks very similar to the Surface Pro 4 model.

The new Surface Pro device comes with Intel 7th gen Core processor, 12.3” PixelSense display, 165-degree hinge, and 4G LTE. The device comes with 50% more battery life and 50 more performance than Surface Pro 4. The new Surface Pro now supports up to 13.5 hours of battery life.

According to the company, the new Surface Pro is 1.7x faster than the iPad Pro, despite running a full-fledged Windows 10 OS.

In addition, the device also features 3.5mm headphone jack, Mini DisplayPort, and USB Type-A port, with no new-generation USB-C ports. Microsoft also excluded USB-C ports from the Surface Laptop.

The new colorful Alcantara fabric-covered keyboard is also now available with the Surface Pro range. New Surface Pen is faster, more accurate with more fluid writing and drawing. You can select you Keyboard and Pen in Platinum, Cobalt Blue, Black, and Burgundy colors.

Microsoft Surface Pro will be available on June 15, at $799.
