T-Mobile Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus update G950USQU2BQK5 released

T-Mobile has released a new software update G950USQU2BQK5 for Galaxy S8 and update G955USQU2BQK5 for Galaxy S8 Plus in the US. The latest update has added Enhanced network performance and enhanced Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) experience. With this, you no longer have to flash another carrier’s firmware onto your device to switch carrier. Just insert your new carrier’s SIM and restart the phone to register it on the new network. Pre-installed apps from your previous carrier will also automatically disable when you restart the phone.

The update also includes Android latest Security patch which fixed Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures discovered in the Android operating system. In addition, there are device stability improvements, bug fixes and further enhancements for performance. The update size is around 480MB.

Make sure you have enough charge on your device at least 60% to 70% before downloading the update.
