Total Conflict: Resistance Patch 0.85.0 Notes – August 26, 2024
- Added functionality for creating your own modifications (SDK).
- Added new armored vehicle to the game (Challenger II).
- Added new armored vehicle to the game (M10 Booker).
- Added new armored vehicle to the game (Marder IFV).
- Added new armored vehicle to the game (KTO Rosomak).
- Added new armored vehicle to the game (BMPT Terminator).
- Added random emergency incidents at production facilities (in global game mode).
- Added information about fines and other negative effects in adopted laws (politics).
- Significantly improved AI in global game mode (fixed “meat” assaults, each battalion under AI control is given “behavioral lines” in order to diversify the gameplay).
- Significantly improved AI in the tactical game mode (pathfinding, movement of armored vehicles and cars, search for cover for infantry).
- Added new music (in tactical battles and campaign).
- Improved the sound system in tactical battles (added more than 100 new sounds for infantry).
- Fixed rearmament of AI squads (weapons, sights, silencers and armored vehicles in global game mode).
- Fixed production time of armored vehicles (balance in global game mode).
- Fixed the operation of “Improving Relations” with other factions. The better the relations, the harder it will be to improve them.
- All photos in news releases have been corrected and stylized.
- Some faction leaders and commanders in the game have been corrected (portraits).
- The initial amount of bread in each city has been increased (on the global map).
- Critical errors in armored vehicles have been fixed (armor thickness, overall reliability, price, production, etc.).
- “Quick Battles” have been improved, now you can select factions, number of troops, location, time of day, etc.
- Optimized use of video card memory.
- Fixed the ban on firing from some types of MLRS in the marching position (it was possible to fire a missile into the cabin of your truck).
- Added a new mouse cursor to the game.
- Fixed a critical error that could cause the game to freeze (when the enemy attacked the player’s city).
- Fixed an error that caused destroyed countries to continue trading on the world market.
- Fixed some buildings in tactical battles (the ability to place infantry in them).
- Added new events for capturing all factions in the game by the player.
- Fixed a critical error that could cause the game to freeze after killing the driver and gunner in an armored vehicle/car.
- Fixed an error that caused pistols to disappear from fighters after the battle.
- Fixed an error that caused the camera centering to work incorrectly (in global game mode, the “F” key).
- Fixed errors that made it impossible to create a garrison in a captured city.
- Fixed an error that caused the AI to not use its best armored vehicles.
- Fixed the squad renaming system (text went beyond the windows).
- Fixed the names of armored vehicles in squad editing mode.
- Added a description of the number of workplaces at enterprises (during construction).
- Fixed the purchase of elite infantry squads in the tactical campaign.
- Fixed a bug due to which the amount of money on the world market was displayed incorrectly.
- Fixed errors due to which some infantry textures were knocked down.
- Fixed a collision for some objects (in tactical battles).
- Fixed a bug due to which the hint window was not completely hidden in a tactical battle.
- Fixed the settings for the display time of the bodies of the dead, decals, etc.
- Fixed the sights on pickups with DShK.
- Fixed all achievements in Steam (achievements).
- Fixed critical errors in the border violation system (now war will not be declared on the republic if some of the cities in it are captured by another faction).
- Fixed critical errors of landing troops loaded into boxes (teleported to land after loading the game).
- Fixed critical errors in AI, due to which infantry could freeze in one place (in tactical battle).
- Fixed an error due to which AI could land troops in a destroyed settlement (in global game mode).
- Fixed a critical error due to which it was possible to create many armored vehicles from one squad (in tactical battle).
- Fixed the M2A2 model.
- Fixed an error due to which a battalion loaded onto ships consumed its fuel reserves while moving (in global game mode).
- Fixed localization (partially, soon we will do professional localization of the game into all languages).
- Fixed a critical error due to which the game could freeze at the end of the battle, when selecting your squad (in a tactical battle).
- Fixed an error due to which it was possible to reload weapons and crawl at the same time (in a tactical battle).
- Fixed an error due to which the AI continued to shoot at empty tanks and cars (in a tactical battle).
- Fixed an error due to which the pistol appeared on the back of soldiers, and not in the holster (in a tactical battle).
- Fixed an error due to which the soldier under the player’s control was lost after the end of a tactical battle.
