Train Sim World 5 Patch Notes- November 21, 2024
Core
- Fixed thumbnails on the in-game store not loading correctly
- Added improved track shadow rendering to the following routes:
- S-Bahn Vorarlberg
- Bremen – Oldenburg
- NEC: Boston – Providence
- Dresden – Riesa
Fife Circle Line
- Added 5,5 mile Levenmouth branch
- Added Guard Mode to Fife Circle Line
- Added King Alexander III monument around Burntisland station
- Added additional airport assets
- Added railfan NPCs at Haymarket station
- Added instructions to set the reverser to correct position before opening doors in the “Coming Full Circle” & “High Winds” scenario.
- Updated light baking in tunnels between Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket
- Updated Map collectables to include new Leven branch
- Replaced inaccurate blue lampposts with more accurate ones
- Improved ballast visuals around Forth Bridge
- Improved scenery along the route
- Adjusted lighting around Forth Road Bridge and Forth Bridge
- Adjusted passenger spawn rate to be more realistic
- Increased draw distance for airport assets and Edinburgh Castle
- Replaced unnecessary “Stop at” instruction with “Go Via” during High Winds scenario
- Fixed Forth Bridge lights clipping into trains
- Fixed passengers not leaving the train at Inverkeithing
- Fixed passengers walking onto tracks
- Fixed incorrect signal behaviour at Inverkeithing
- Fixed incorrect passenger behaviour at Kinghorn
- Fixed many different scenery and terrain errors across the route
- Fixed bridge near Aberdour clipping into train by raising it slightly
- Fixed materials of route map at Markinch station
- Fixed snow appearing under bridges
- Various localisation changes
BR Class 170
- Updated destination boards to use new dynamic PIS system
- Fixed driver models facing the wrong direction when sitting in driver’s and secondman seat
- Fixed “Local Fault” text position
- Fixed player model missing in Photo Mode, after player sits down in driver’s seat
- Added smoke effect to exhaust when loco is running or power is increased
WCML: London Euston – Milton Keynes
- Fixed achievement “The Collector” not unlocking
MBTA: Commuter
- Fixed collision and clipping issues with walking stick NPCs
- Fixed missing collision with NPC at Lansdowne station
- Minor optimisation improvements made across the route
- Optimised signal behaviour
Blackpool Branches
- Prepared Route Hopping to include Preston – Carlisle once it releases
- Improved brake release hiss to make it more consistent
- Improved passenger behaviour
Tees Valley Line
- Fixed instant crash when opening live map during Class 37/5 timetable service 6E13
