A new software update for Honor 8 Pro is now available for download. Huawei is now rolling out build DUK-L09C432B183 with bug fixes and other improvements to the smartphone.
The new update adds VoLTE support to Honor 8 Pro in addition to improving the battery life by optimizing power consumption for longer usage.
Additionally, the update has optimized the touch screen sensitivity to avoid accidental operation of the display. This is coupled with improvements surrounding the screen providing a more precise recognition of the screen commands.
Finally, the update also installs latest Android security patches. This improves the security system of your device.
The update size is around 659MB and rolling out over the air in batches. It may take some time to appear on your device. Making sure that your Honor 8 Pro has sufficiently charged and connected to a WiFi network. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > About device > System updates.
