Verizon has released a new software update VS50020g for LG K8 V in the US. The LG K8 V Prepaid is also receiving update VS500PP6. The new OTA update includes the latest Android January security patch.
The Android January security patch brings fixes for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS. In addition, the firmware update also includes bug fixes and other improvements.
