Way of the Hunter update 1.23 is now rolling out on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, and Xbox one. According to the official Way of the Hunter patch notes, the latest update 1.23 added quality of life improvements and gameplay optimizations.
Since the last patch, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Way of the Hunter patch 1.23 will fix a few of these issues.

- Fixed: Stutter when looking through the scope with Hunter sense on
- Fixed: Levitating grass in some Aurora Shores and Transylvania locations
- Fixed: Sound cues range
- Fixed: Sitka deer lifecycle schedule
- Fixed: Aurora Shores campsites are still marked with “?“ after discovering it
- Fixed: Looping hold breath sound
- Added (PC): DirectX default version is set to DX11
- Added (Steam): DirectX version selection at the start of the game (DX11/DX12)
